Wand of a Steampunk Magus
Description
Although wood is one of the most common elements to use in making a wand any steampunk magus will tell you that wands of copper, brass and even steel are best when working with technological magic. Believed to have once belonged to the great magus Nikola Tesla, the wand was discovered in a trash heap near Wardenclyffe. The wand is made of copper and brass with a quartz crystal at the tip. Beneath the leather wrapping is a pressure switch which turns the light off and on. The brass end cap has a small gear copper-riveted to the end. The cap comes off to reveal a small screw-on cap which, when removed, gives access to the battery compartment. The wand uses 3 L1154 watch batteries (3 new batteries come with the wand).
The “holster” is made of faux leather and measures 4 ½” in length. It has a 1 ½” long belt loop and a small pewter quarter moon decorated with Celtic knotwork decorates the front of the holster.
