Lace Gear Set
Description
This is yet another design adapted from an antique tatting book. I took a medallion pattern and after a bit of trial and error took just the center portion to make this pendant and earring set.I couldn't decide whether it looked more like a spoked wheel or a gear in the end I decided on lace gear. Each piece is hand needle tatted with black cotton thread and measures just over 1.5"(4cm) across. The earring hand from silver toned earwires and the pendant includes a 24"(61cm) steel ball chain.
