Fiesta Stripe - Colorful Peyote Beadwoven Bracelet (2970)

Description

Created to coordinate with the Fiesta Stripe Pendant (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17228325), this little bracelet packs a lot of color.

The inspiration for the fiesta stripe pieces came from some of my grandmother's old dinnerware. I can remember sitting down to the table and having fun eating from all those differently colored bowls, plates, and cups.

I used 15 different colors of opaque Japanese Delica beads - black, rose, sky blue, turquoise blue, crimson red, lime green, forest green, pumpkin, bright orange, brick red, yellow, hot pink, violet, turquoise green, and dark plum! The bracelet is woven in two drop peyote stitch in a simple striped design.

The bracelet measures only 3/4" wide and 6-3/4" long (when clasped). The closure is a loop and toggle made from the same beads, created to blend right in to the bracelet.

Beadwoven bracelets are so much fun to wear. They're like glass fabric on your wrist, if you can imagine such a thing, extremely comfortable and lightweight.
