This is hand dyed high quality silk thread Size 20, this skein is 40 yards.

**This tats up a little smaller than size 20 cotton thread.

Exceptionally smooth and easy to work with, 100% natural SILK, twisted,3 ply thread. Has outstanding body. colorfast.

I start with only the very best threads that money can buy. These high quality threads cannot be found in your local craft store.
Each skein is carefully hand dyed, allowed to cure for 24 hours and then thoroughly washed and dried before listing.
Hand dyed thread has striking variations that you cannot find in mass-produced varigated threads. These Hand Dyed Threads (HDT) are such a joy to work with!

Many of my colorways are painstakingly hand painted just as I would a canvas.
