Narissa the Narwhal Plush

Description

Some medieval Europeans believed narwhal tusks to be the horns from the legendary unicorn. These "horns" were considered to have magic powers, Vikings and other northern traders were able to sell them for many times their weight in gold. The tusks were used to make cups that were thought to negate any poison that may have been slipped into the drink.

Narissa narwhal has been completely hand stitched, by me, from my own original pattern. She is made up from light gray wool blend felt with white wool blend felt for her horn. Her flippers have been securely hand stitched in. She has black plastic safety eyes.

10.25 inches(26cm) long x 2 inches(5cm) tall x 2.25 inches(5.7cm) wide across the flippers.

Narissa would love to spend time in a child's room or keeping you company on your desk! She would also make a great pin cushion!
