No matter how far away we are, our heart endures.
Keep this as a special memento of your loved one in a far off place,
or to remind you of where you came from.
A simple wooden box, organic to its bones, has been transformed into a window to your heart. It is an assemblage of found objects, including seashells, a vintage glass medicine bottle, paper ephemera, a vintage photograph, and gorgeous (from my garden, too!) iceland poppy seed heads, just to name a few things. The edges have been embellished with glass glitter (completely safe, and much better quality than the more common plastic junk). The back of the 4 1/2 x 6" (11x15cm) box (add an additional 2 1/2" (6cm) for the peak of the house) has been covered in an antiqued page of text from a discarded book.
