Description

This teapot is handbuilt of low white earthenware clay, slabs and coils. It is, like all my work, one-of-a-kind and is functional!

It looks like stone, doesn't it? Flecks and speckles of browns, blacks, and touches of orange gives this teapot a very rough look, but in fact it is rather smooth.

Besides serving a great cup of tea or coffee (food-safe), it makes a fascinating sculpture, definitely an objet d'art.

SIZE: 8 1/2" wide X 9" high X 2 3/4" deep. It holds a few cups.

If you would like matching cups, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to make them for you.

My teapots are collected in art galleries and museums around the world, as well as many private collections.

I try to match my photos as closely as possible with the actual colors, but monitors do vary. Of course, the actual piece always has more detail and is better than the pics.
