Pink Bird - Art Necklace

Comes with dark brown cord necklace with lobster clasp, ready for wearing

This funky art necklace features a print of one of my intensely-detailed folk art bird drawings. (P.S. - The original drawing is available for purchase in my other etsy shop, http://thaneeya.etsy.com .) The bird was printed using archival inks onto 100% cotton percale. The print is permanent, lightfast, and hand washable in cold water and gentle soap.

The delightful bird print was then securely hand-sewn onto three layers of russet, cream and mauve felt. The felt is 30% wool, 70% synthetic. Each layer of felt was embroidered with a complimentary color of embroidery floss, which adds to the overall level of detail and color in this piece.

A dark brown nylon cord is threaded through two slits on the reverse side of the felt pendant. The cord is 18" long and has a soft and has a silky texture. If you want a shorter or longer cord, send me a message during checkout and I may be able to accomodate.

Please note that due to monitor settings, colors can vary from screen to screen.

US buyers:

Shipping will be $2.00. This amount covers the costs of postage and packing materials. The pendant will ship via USPS First Class Mail which generally takes 2-3 days but may take longer. Insurance is optional and is an additional $1.65. If insurance is not purchased, I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

International buyers:

Shipping will be $2.50. The pendant will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail International. Arrival time depends on destination. Because tracking and insurance are NOT included, I am not responsible for lost, late or damaged packages. The buyer is responsible for any and all duties upon arrival of the package. If you would like the security of tracking and insurance, send me a message and I will let you know the shipping cost to your country for this additional protection.
