Elsa the elephant is very playful. She loves telling goofy jokes, & is always up for any game or sport. She’s kind of clumsy though, so don’t get under her feet! Elsa is very outgoing, but is also happy walking along by herself, picking flowers & enjoying the warm sunshine.

Elsa's body is made from a light green t-shirt. She has the cutest big, floppy ears made of contrasting fabric & a loooooong trunk. Elsa's little tail & hand-stitched face are made of embroidery floss {no choking hazards!}. She is approximately 5 in. tall & 7.5 in. wide (12.7 cm. x 19.05 cm.).

Snuggle Herd toys are built to last! They are machine-stitched except for the gap left for stuffing, stuffed very tightly, & then carefully hand-stitched closed. Tails are glued & sewn on. All Snuggle Herd toys can be machine-washed in a lingerie bag on the gentle cycle with cold water & then air-dried.

The toy you order will have a cute hangtag with the animal's story (same as top paragraph) & care instructions. It will be packaged in a cellophane bag & tied with a ribbon, so it arrives clean, dry & ready for giving! Packaging shown in last photo.

The Snuggle Herd is committed to being green! All Snuggle Herd toys are made from about 90% recycled or reclaimed materials. Their bodies are made of fabric cut from thrifted t-shirts, thoroughly washed of course, & every effort is taken to use up scrap materials & leftovers to prevent waste. Animals' manes are cut from the seam allowances of t-shirts; fabric scraps become the spots or tail of a giraffe or colorful ears on an elephant. These toys are earth-friendly inside & out. They are stuffed with shredded wool fiber reclaimed from unwanted sweaters.

Making handmade toys from recycled materials means that each one is unique. Each batch of a particular animal will be slightly different from the next because of the varying fabric scraps & t-shirts used. The animal you receive will most likely be different from the one pictured here. However, the color themes are consistent; elephants are always light green; lions are always orange, etc. If the listing is for a particular variation, such as an elephant with black & white striped ears, then you will get one with black & white striped ears, but the striped fabric may be different than what's shown in the photo. If you're concerned, simply convo & ask for a snapshot of the animal that would be sent to you. That's no problem at all!
