Circa 1920s (?) german doll. Silver or silver plated vintage baby spoon, engraved for Donald. Shell from the North Carolina beach last year. Buttons- some old, some new, some mother of pearl, some glass, maybe bone, some plastic. Freshwater pearl. 8" x 8" maple panel, painted.
8" x 10" x 1" Signed, dated, and titled on the back by the artist. Panel is milled and ready to hang.
Object 6: Beauty of Life is from a new series.
I've been working in several new directions this year. Much of my previous work involved photographing arrangements of things (some folks called them digital assemblages or digital collage)-- with these assemblages I'm gluing and physically constructing objects.
