Object 7: North South East WestOriginal, one of a kind, mixed media assemblage art by Tricia McKellar, ©2008.

The wonderful curiosities in Object 7:
- Vintage pocket watch piece.
- Circa 1920s (?) german dolls.
- Buttons: some old, some new, some mother of pearl, some glass, maybe bone, some plastic.
- Freshwater pearls wrapped to copper nails at the compass points.
- 8" x 8" maple panel, painted.
8.5" x 8.5" x 1" Signed, dated, and titled on the back by the artist. Panel is milled and ready to hang.
Object 7: North South East West is from a new series.
I've been working in several new directions this year. Much of my previous work involved photographing arrangements of things (some folks called them digital assemblages or digital collage)-- with these assemblages I'm gluing and physically constructing objects.
