A Drop of Red

Simple
red
drop.

These drop earrings are made from from 925 sterling silver, Japanese washi paper and resin. An upside-down tear drop shape of silver surrounds the red washi paper. The paper is then covered in a layer of clear resin making the earrings waterproof. The drop is then joined by links to a simple silver bar that has a square cross section. The earring wires are also forged and shaped by hand. The back of the earrings are stamped with 925 and my maker's mark. The silver is shiny and highly polished.

Earrings are approximately 35mm long from the top of the bar to the bottom of the drop (1.4"). Drop is 8mm wide (0.3").
