Early Art Earrings- Dots
Description
Why "early art"? Well, every time I look at these earrings they scream "cave painting!" or "fossil!" to me. They're part of a new line I'm designing that's meant to evoke a primitive feel.I've cut two rectangles from copper, hammered them for a weathered look, sanded, polished, and stamped in my design. Then, I antique the copper to darken the textured surface.
This copper has not been sealed so you can expect the color to darken to a deeper brown over time. If you'd like to brighten them up at any point you can "polish" them with a scotch brite pad for a minute or so.
These earrings are a little over an inch long and are extremely lightweight. They hang from sterling silver earwires.
