PEARL and CARNELIAN necklace

Description

These are not your grandmother's pearls.

Each genuine pearl in this choker length strand is fat and lustrous and organic in shape. Each one is slightly separated from its neighbor with a tiny Japanese matte white glass bead. And to accentuate that natural look I've added the livliest faceted and polished carnelian beads, all in a row, off-center, of course.

Closure needed to be natural as well, so I've used a genuine Biwa pearl with a self loop.

Pearls, yes, but very natural and decidedly untraditional. Wear them out to dinner or with a tank top. Not too dressy to be your every day 'go to' piece.

Pearls average 8mm each. About 17" long.
(Would also be fun wrapped twice around your wrist.)
