This Wintery necklace was inspired by two separate things...first the obvious...Winter in all its cold, icy, snowy glory...and the other not so obvious reason, a T-shirt. My favorite T-shirt to be exact, it is a wonderfully soft bright teal shirt with silver snowflakes and the phrase "total flake" on it. My shirt was bought as a joke, since I am not a flake...I just have a short attention span and I like snowflakes ^_^

All silliness aside...this snowflake inspired necklace captures the whimsy of snow. The central snowflake is made from glitter covered ceramic, surrounded by by a pair of silver plated snowflakes on either side. The necklace is made from Opalite Glass, Vintage Opalite glass, Stardust Beads, Czech Crystal, Vintage Lucite beads encrusted with Swarovski Crystal, and Czech Crystal. The piece is finished with a silver plated box clasp and measures 20 inches long
