Red Butterfly -- Origami Crane Art -- 8x10

Description

This butterfly was inspired by one on a Japanese family crest. The wings are made from 65 red foil origami cranes, the body is made from 6 gold foil cranes for a total of 71 cranes. Gold rat-tail ribbon and two 7mm topaz (gold) acrylic rhinestones form the antennae. It is mounted on a background of black velvet measuring 8 inches (approximately 20.3 cm) by 10 inches (approximately 25.4 cm.)
