Comet Roller Coaster Print
Description
Comet, North Dartmouth, MAIn the foreground is the Comet's lift hill, which used to carry thrill-seekers to their first big drop. Now the lift hill is merely an incline, (and inclined the wrong way, at that) having been pushed down by a heavy load of snow in 1995, the web told me. Just beyond the point where the chain dips downward, you can see the "clacker", a steel strip of angled teeth that would catch and release a noise-maker attached to the bottom of the coaster's cars, adding to a rider's sense of foreboding.
Image measures approximately 9" high by 9 1/2" wide on a 10" by 10" sheet. Suggested frame size: 15" by 15".
