Pitcher with Rope Decoration
Description
This medium sized pitcher was made from brown stoneware, thrown on a potter's wheel by Danny. He added lots of great detailing. There is rope decoration on the belly, a comfy curve in the handle for your thumb, and a pretty rolled foot. Later, it was glazed in in an iron glaze and fired to cone 10 (2350 degrees F) in a gas kiln.This pitcher is 6 inches (15.5 cm) tall and 5 inches (12 cm) wide at the belly, not including the handle. It holds 4 cups (1000 ml).
This pitcher is food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe.
