Art Glass Platter
Description
This is a kiln formed glass platter from my Thread series.Using clear Bullseye Glass I have fused threads (or stringers of white) and then polished the sides and slumped it into a slight curve that makes it look like a sushi dish.
The top surface has been sandblasted and firepolished so it has a lovely satin finish.
This is a piece of art glass but can also be functional to hold fruit- lemons and limes look great!. It looks lovely sitting on the middle of a table but can also be displayed on it's side on a bookcase of mantle piece.
This is an excellent gift- I have given several of these to friends as wedding gifts.
