This is a stunning set which includes necklace and earrings, both loaded with gemstones in colors that bring to mind holiday parties, and warm spiced wine.

The necklace is nineteen and a half inches long, and consists of a sterling rolo chain and centerpiece pendant that hangs two inches down from the center. The pendant is a lovely green fire agate, cut in a cathedral rectangle, wrapped in hammered sterling, and sitting on a fine silver ball-end headpin. Clustered at the top of the agate are lovely faceted rhodolite garnets, Oregon sunstones, and carnelians, all wrapped on fine silver ball-end headpins, and complemented by bali sterling daisies and a sterling twisted ring. The necklace closes with a very pretty sterling wreath-and-leaf toggle clasp, and a half-inch rhodolite garnet dangle.

The earrings are almost two inches (from the earwire) of incredible swing and sparkle, with three each of faceted rhodolite garnet, carnelian and tsavorite garnet(really hard to find it in this bright green color!) to match the necklace. The earwires on these earrings are my hand-forged, lightly hammered Omega earwires, but in fine silver with a balled end--the fancy version :o)!
