Gypsy Scarf Pattern (PDF Download only)

Description

This funky scarf/shawl throws the idea that knitting has to be organized and structured to be beautiful right out the window. Give up a little control, use some creativity, get a wonderful scarf!

Using scraps of leftovers and partial balls of yarn and the most basic stitches (knit, purl, knit 2 together) you can create a gorgeous scarf or shawl that can add some funk to jeans or can add some glamour to a simple dress. I guarantee that if you make this scarf and wear it out, you'll get all kinds of compliments on it!

Do you have trouble with knowing when to change yarns with these kinds of patterns? I have a special technique in this pattern that can help you be sure to create a TRULY random order of yarn!

I've also included a wonderful bind-off technique that ensures that your shawl will be flexible and comfortable to wear!

You will need:
US 13 (9 mm) circular needles at least 29” long
Optional Needles: US 11 (8 mm), US 15 (10 mm) 29”+ circulars
Notions: Scissors, game dice (you'll see!)

The pattern has color photos to help with the instructions and has three pages with fully written pattern text, no confusing abbreviations!
