Blue lace embroidered cuff/bracelet

This piece of handmade jewellery is made by myself, with time taken and care.

One of a kind.

It’s made with scraps of fabric, some vintage. I love recycling materials and giving them a new lease of life. I used my lust for embroidery and bead work to cover the surface, hoping to give the piece a modern, yet vintage appearance. I looked at pieces of old lace for inspiration and I try to show my love of colour in a wearable fashion. The heavy bead work adds elegance to the bracelet, giving it an old school glamour. To add to the rustic nature I’ve used a ribbon for fastening. Ribbons are perfect for giving it an older look and bows are extremely romantic.

Suitable lengths of ribbon either side for tying.
