Rose Lariat Necklace
Description
A soft black and white lariat caresses the throat while a pink rose playfully entices.The rose is 2.5 inches in diameter or 7 cm roughly. The lariat itself is 2 feet long or about 60 cm.
The Salvaged Story:
The first of what I'm hoping will be a few pieces of textile jewelry. I'm pretty happty with it though it always reminds me of Carmen from the opera. The pink is the last of my phenomenally 80's pink yarn unless I start re purposing again and the lariat... ok I bought that yarn because of it's suede and fluffy texture and general beauty.
The yarn may felt when washed cold wash and hang dry.
