Bookmark Mouse - Hand Felted and Hand Stitched by Lyndell

These little mice make wonderful gifts as they are cute and practical. The long ribbon tail will keep the place in a book - while at the same time the mouse helps to protect the book from insect pests because it is scented with natural lavender oil.

The mouse bodies are of hand felted from natural, undyed wool (flat (or wet) felting technique, the fleece from a brown sheep) - the ears are of commercial wool felt. They are all stitched by hand and the polyfil stuffing has been scented with lavender oil. They have long ribbon tails, up-cycled shirt buttons on their rumps and at the other end, shiny glass bead eyes and noses with bristling cotton whiskers.

Each mouse is quite individual and I have 2 left - one has a cream tail the other has a pale grey/blue one. Please specify if you have any preference.

Price is for ONE mouse - your little rodent will be sent nicely wrapped in a gift box. Convo me to discuss discount pricing for mulitple mouses (oops - mice!)

PS: the insect-deterring scent can be maintained by just putting a drop of lavender oil on the mouse's rump every so often.
