Decorative Pillow-silk, reverse applique
Description
This petite decorative pillow is about 12 inches square.It is made of gold colored silk fabric inset with lighter weight habotai silk using a technique known as reverse applique. The inset piece is one that I dyed by hand and painted with an Art Nouveau pattern.
It is embellished with gold braid bordering the reverse applique section and finished with a tassel matching the braid.
The fill is polyester.
I've shown it tassel up and tassel down, The pillow's location and your preference will determine tassel placement in your environment.
