This was a work completed in 2006 and formed part of a series of works inspired by wood. When you live in rural France, wood piles are a common site and one day, I was stuck behind a logging trucks. I became mesmorised by the round disks of wood in front of me and from this came my series of paintings.

The very first painting in this series was auctioned at Christies in London, UK and can be seen on my website www.cathysavels.com.

With this painting you'll get a signed Artist's Statement and a Certificate of Authenticity. Shipping includes insurance and this is reflected in the shipping cost.
