Hope will happily hover from your Christmas tree, blessing you until the next presidental administration and beyond. One of these little ladies would be a fantastic gift for anyone wanting to commemorate the 2008 election. Of course, like hope itself, they're nonpartisan.

I began making these ornaments when my mother-in-law gave me some old ornaments that her mother and grandmother had made. She split them up among her three kids, and I started making new ones for the nieces and nephews. They are lovingly hand-sewn to be heirlooms for generations.

Made from a cotton floss-wrapped pipecleaner armature, her felt gown is hand-embroidered. A loop secured around her torso facilitates hanging, or tuck the loop into her dress and perch her on the window sill--she's fully poseable, and she will stand with a little encouragement. 3" from halo to hem. Available in other colorways and hair/eye colors--just convo and I'll make a special listing for you.

The smiley lady in the back of the first picture is taken, but if you have a particular fondness for one of the other two, let me know in the message to seller when you check out. If you don't specify, I'll choose for you.
