Description

Life's an Expedition 16" tote bag.

* Dark green synthetic feels like super soft fabric. With piping and white lettering.
* Approximate dimensions are 16 wide x 14 tall as you look at the front of the bag. It is 5 inches deep from front-to-back.
* Strap is two inches wide with plastic buckle that enables you to adjust length from 27 to 54 inches long.
* Spacious large inner compartment features a fabric covered cardboard insert that enables tote to stand upright when you have something in it. Yet when the tote is empty, it will fold flat for travel or storage and weighs very little.
* Front pocket is about 11 x 16 inches--large enough for a newspaper folded once, a magazine, book, knitting directions, day planner.
* Four clear side pockets--two on each end--are about the size of a business card, which means they will hold a small cell phone, mp3 player, business cards, tape measure, small set of keys, sewing needles, thimble, small scissors, etc. And if those pockets are not big enough...
* Two large side pockets--one on each end--are approximately 5 x 7 inches, a great side for a water bottle, but also big enough for a pair of sunglasses and a pair of regular glasses. Or scissors or even a small paperback book.
* Use for knitting, crocheting, needlework or other crafts. 16-inch width will accommodate every size of knitting needle we have ever seen, with half of a sweater hanging off them and probably another project to boot!
* Use as a book bag, lunch bag, gym bag or grocery bag.

We've sold these to people who need a large bag to hold sheet music...people who commute to work on a bicycle and want something less confining than a backpack...people who like to make quick runs to the drug store and want a very light bag that will be empty for one leg of the trip.

I took one on a bike trip to a craft show. It was so easy to take because it weighs so little empty. I left the bag chained to my bike while I shopped. Afterward, I could just shove my purchase into the bag and head home. Plenty of freedom in terms of arm movement.
