Slinky, sexy, rugged, earthy and DRAMATIC.
The Snake collection is based upon the gorgeous patterns of these mysteriously wonderous creatures.
The Boa Snake Collar features a magnificent 7 inch stretch of peyote stitch snake-skin. I employed thousands of tiny glass delica beads in a palette of hues meant to evoke the scales of the magnificent reptile; deep luscious browns, lustrous cream, flashy bronze and gold.
A 2 inch section of real snake vertebrae takes center stage, sewn right on to the snake-skin, while a menagerie of fascinating gems play their supporting rolls. A smoldering, richly faceted smoky quartz dangles provocatively from a vibrant deep turquoise nugget. On either side golden rays of light emit from brilliant rutilated quartz. The little faceted labradorite ovals are trying to steal the show with their flashy blue fire, while richly mottled rust pietersite teardrops bring it all back down to earth.
This one-of-a-kind choker ties with a slinky length of golden gossamer ribbon. The Boa Collar was designed to be tied with a generous bow at your nape while the snake-skin sits flush against your neck.
