Nursing Necklace - Le Jardin Des Fleurs (The Garden of Flowers)

Description

This necklace started with the glass pearls that were left from a former project. I pulled them together with this yellow rose tensha focal bead.

The necklace is hand knotted on a strong 36lb test cord and closes with a lobster clasp.

What is a Nursing Necklace?

Nursing necklaces are used while nursing a baby or can even be used while feeding via bottle. They are designed to be interesting and fun for baby hands while strong enough to be tugged and yanked. They are also nice enough to be worn just as jewelry. All necklaces are handmade and tested by my twins for durability. They are five and still like to fiddle with them when we are talking, snuggling, etc.

Please remember that nursing necklaces should NOT be used as teethers or toys. Never leave them alone with your infant or toddler because of the potential choking hazard.
