Eco Pleated Grocery Bag Roomy Wristlet or Clutch

Description

This adorable wristlet purse is made from fused plastic bags. Several layers of plastic bags are heated lightly until fused together, producing a wonderful eco-textile which both looks and feels like wrinkly, plastic leather.

This purse features a pleated front, with a button hole closure. The top of the front panel is edged in lace, and a lace wrist strap is added that can either be used or tucked neatly inside to use as a clutch. All of the edges are double-stitched with a wide zig-zag stitch for extra durability. The front pleats are both adorable and practical as they allow the bag to actually "expand" to accommodate all your items.

This particular wristlet is made from several layers of tan grocery bags, black and grey lace, and an aged brass vintage button. Stitching is done in black thread.
