Description

This tissue box cover was created starting with a paper-mache base made of sturdy recycled material (made in the Phillipines). The pictures were obtained from old and damaged comics and affixed to the box cover using decoupage glue and techniques. The entire tissue box cover is covered with multiple layers of a water and alcohol resistant polyurethane protective coating. Cover measures 5 x 5 x 5.5 inches.

The tissue box cover is decorated classic funnybook advertisements for jokes, puzzles, pranks, patches, gadgets, masks and more. All of your childhood favorites are here – the X-Ray Vision specs, the Hercules wrist band, secrets of oriental fighting, peace sign patches, phony blood and plans for building your very own personal hovercraft air car. Wasn’t it great it being a kid? You’ll be spending a lot of time reading these ads and remembering times gone by.

But wait! That’s not all you get. Anybody can decorate the part of an item that’s going to be seen all the time. But this amazing tissue box cover is not only decorated on the outside but is also COMPLETELY covered on the inside. It fits over a cube sized box of tissues that are pulled through an opening in the top (most major brands have tissues in this size).
