Wide eyed in yellow! 3 1/2 by 3 1/2
The dove is from a vintage 70's tie stitched to wool felt with adhesive to the middle and back side for a card board like strength. The pin is then hand stitched and another layer of adhesive and fabric is applied. I use safety pins for three reasons:

1. I love them and I think they are as wonderful as gray tape & avocado's to survive.

2. The pin backings you buy in the store tend to bulk up the pin and make's it lay at a tilt. The safety pin give it a very nice flat lay once pined on.

3. My family named me the "Safety Pin Queen" when I was 6 years old.
