Leah corset - Elizabethan / Renaissance style CUSTOM to your size

This "Leah" Elizabethan corset features 3 layers: a dupioni silk fashion fabric, a cotton coutil strength layer, and a cotton lining for comfort and style. (For other currently available fabrics, see the 5th photo or contact me about any shade of silk dupioni or taffeta you like!) This corset is truly a work of art! It contains a modesty placket for front or back lacing (your choice), only steel boning (guaranteed never to rust) or historically-accurate reed boning, supportive shoulder straps, waist tabs to prevent discomfort, and triple-reinforced grommets. You also have the option of adding a wooden busk at the front. It features internal boning casings, silk bound edges, and comes with an extra long, sturdy lacing ribbon or string.

This corset is suggested for moderate tight-lacing (up to a 4" reduction in the waist!), and may be worn for fashion or as a historically-accurate undergarment, perfect for reenactment! All of my corsets are built with strength in mind. As I am trained as a theatrical costume maker, I create garments to withstand the stress and strain of continual hard wear. This particular garment is dry-clean only due to it's silk content, and if it is treated well, is sure to last you for years! It is not recommended for extreme tight lacing.

This corset will be custom-made to your specific measurements. Once you order this item, I will contact you with a list of measurements to provide me. The corsets pictured are sized between 21 and 26 inches. If there is any concern at all about fit, I will first ship you a mock up corset to try on, and then we will move on to the real corset. This may add 1-2 weeks onto final delivery time.

It will take 4-6 weeks to complete and ship your brand new corset. If you are in need of a sooner deadline, please contact me privately and we can likely arrange a rush order.
