R I N G with sapphire

Description

Not for the faint of heart.

A large, hollow, nickel silver cork shape sits atop an 18k gold shank. The round top of the nickel silver piece is accented by a 22k bezel set Ceylon sapphire of an icy light blue color. The stone is approximately 5mm in diameter. The nickel silver has delicate marring and displays a mottled patina of dark gray.

The 1.5mm 18k gold shank is soldered to a sterling silver base which is stamped with my personal mark and .925.
