This is the perfect piece for any cheesecake killer-diller or knock 'em dead noir kinda gal! The Rita is our classic 1940's style tilt topper hat, named after one of our favorite 1940's movie stars Rita Hayworth. This is a fun little sex kitten of a hat that works fabulously for both the sugar-and-spice pinup or the mysterious man-killer femme fatale. With brim and crown made from your choice of BLACK or RED velvet it also features ruffle trim and bow in black and white houndstooth fabric. This hat is worn on the head with the help of an elastic hat cord that hides under the hair and is pulled around the bottom of the head near the nape of the neck (see detail photos). All of the hats at Hey Sailor! are non-headsize hats, meaning that we do not need your head measurement in order to create your hat, simply put: one size fits all. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY WHAT COLOR VELVET YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR HAT MADE IN WHEN YOU ORDER.
