This is a one of a kind beauty, a piece that you won't forget in your closet and that no one will forget when you wear it.

I call it the Fire Shawl. It's made of 100% uruguayn merino wool that is so soft and not itchy. The yarn was colored using OEKO TEX approved dyes. The colors range from a light orange through the spectrum of reds to briefly touch adobe clay brown, and then back again. Because of the nature of the coloring process and the structure of the lace, the colors are randomly placed, some areas focus more on the reds and some areas more on orange. This is simply part of what makes the shawl unique and lovely.

The stitching is a traditional crocheted pineapple pattern, four squares with the distinctive shape inside. It retains warmth nicely, keeping my lap toasty warm as I pieced it together!

Hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry, or dry clean. Care well for this piece and it will keep you warm for a long long time!
