Organic Eggplant Earrings - Aubergine Buds
Description
These earrings have been awhile in the making. I have taken these lovely brass leave caps and paired them with tiny baby eggplants molded from a form I made from a fairytale eggplant. You can see the true leave cap from the eggplant where I have highlighted the leaves with the green patina. The center of the eggplant is of recycled material and super lightweight clay to make these a lot lighter than they look, so light they float on water!These measure a total of 2 3/4" including the beading. The little bead on top is a glass iridescent Czech bead that brings out both colors on the eggplant. They hang gracefully from bronzed leverback ear wires.
