Regal and slightly Art Nouveau in it's lines, this little brooch is as one-of-a-kind as the butterfly that inspired it...
It features a warm combination of pumpkin, taupe and golden silk threads, with gold-plated silk thread detailing. The wings are meticulously hand-beaded with an assortment of citrine, carnelian, garnet and Swarovski crystals and incorporate two beautiful carnelian cabochons in hand-crocheted settings of gold thread. The thorax features a stunning carnelian nugget and bronze-colored freshwater pearl, with accents of Swarovski crystals and faceted bronze seed beads.
The pin is lined with a piece of soft brown velvet, stitched by hand and finished off with a 1.5" gold-plated pin. The butterfly is signed by the artist with a hand-embroidered label. Wingspan:3.75" Length: 2.5"
