Tie One On

Okay, you are either going to love this bag, or totally hate it! For some reason, I LOVE it! I can see myself toting books from the library, or all those impromptu small purchases and I dig the funky, wacky look and shape of it! It's super large and extra sturdy, needing no lining.
Made from upcycled polka-dotted ties (not sure if they're actually vintage or not, but if I had to guess based on the kind elderly couple that gave them to me, I'd say they're close), this bag is most assuredly one-of-a-kind! I stitched this one up on my Husqvarna Viking, reinforcing seams and top stitching to ensure durability.
I love all the dots, big dots, little dots, open dots, solid dots, wonky dots...dot, dot, dot! I love the various textures, smooth,rough, soft, coarse, satiny,and all the colors! Oh, my!
