Aunty Dolly

I think most families have that favorite Aunt who likes to dress up so nicely for the holidays! This ornament is in honor of my lovely Aunty Dolly--who never failed to show up in her fancy hat and pearls!

Made from a double layer of felt that has strands of irridescent fibers running through it--for a little sparkle! She has a pretty red heart, which I stitched around with some dark purple floss, and a matching "hat". She even has on her favorite (faux) pearl necklace! I've stitched her together, by hand, all around the edges in a blanket stitch.

She made sure to put on her mascara and blush too--you can't go out without your "face on" you know!!

She has a fishing line hanger. She measures approx. 5" x 3".
