Melvyn, a recently rescued little rabbit here at SaveABunny says this bowl is too big for him, but he thinks you should have it.

Lead free, food safe, hand wash. Plate measures approx 6 1/2 inches x 6/1/2 inches. This is a hand cut and individually fused piece of artwork. Each piece of art and jewelry takes over two days to make.

First I cut the glass and assemble the materials based on heat working compatibility of the glass. The piece is full-fused at temperatures over 1400 degrees with high heat "soaks" in the kiln. A corresponding proper annealing schedule at under 1000 degrees provides strength, sheen and durability.

The piece may then be "cold-worked" with a wet belt sander to soften edges, refired at over 1300 degrees for a fire polish, or slumped at over 1200 degrees.
