Personalized Doily Painting (2 or 3 letters)

Description

A modern version of the doily...and it spells out your name!

Each row (starting from the center) is a letter in one's name, word or short phrase. I am using a combination of print and script on these depending on the flow of the piece.

These paintings are 9x9 inches on maple plywood (purchased from a builders' surplus store - yay!) with the edges left unpainted; the back has a wire for hanging. The background can be just about any color; I am using craft paint on these because the colors are pre-mixed...that way, if you decide to purchase another painting of the same color later, the colors will match. The lettering can be white or cream.

NOTE: These are pictures of paintings I have done so far (I haven't done any with 2 or 3 letters yet, so these are images of others. The diameter will be a bit smaller for a 2 or 3 letter painting)...first picture: "Ryan" (black with white), second picture: "Eric" (sage green with cream), third picture: "Susan" (red with white), fourth picture: "Kayla" (burgundy with cream), fifth picture: "Avery" (light pink with cream).

These paintings will take a few days to finish, so please keep this in mind when ordering.

***When checking out...please leave the name/word/phrase you wish to have made into a painting as well as the background color and whether you want white or cream lettering. Thank you!***

Inspiration:

- Think seasonally...and the backgrounds accordingly (ie. Christmas, winter, and Valentine's day).

- Pink for girls and blue for boys in the family.

- How about one with your last name spelled out?
