Macaron: not the same as Macaroon ^_____^ It is a common mistake to assume macarons are macaroons, the coconut clusters we are so used to eating. Macarons are actually a French pastry made of whipped egg whites (meringue), and flavoured with almond oil and powdered sugar. It sandwhiches a cream or ganache filling, and sometimes has a jam in the centre too! :) So just a light French pastry. I just thought it'd be super cute to make a tiny version for your hand~ xoxo
