Ethnic Doll and Quilt Collection

Description

The doll is a soft sculpture and is 18" tall. She can sit propped or use a purchased doll stand. Her facial features are embroidered. Her braided hair is sewn and has plastic multi colored bands on the ends. Her brass earrings are sewn on and her head wrap is removable. Her necklace is sewn into the soft sculptured body.

Note: SAFETY FIRST - DUE TO SMALL PIECED BEADS AND TRIMS THE DOLL IS NOT MEANT FOR A TODDLER UNLESS THESE ITEMS ARE REMOVED.

The dress is made from cotton fabric and had dolman shaped sleeves and a sting tied front opening.

Her quilt measures 12 1/2" x 16 1/2". The center of the quilt was made from lots of small African fabric remnants and the borders are cotton fabrics. It is layered just like a regular quilt, with cotton batting and backing. The back of the quilt has a photo label of the doll and describes the doll, just in case they part.

This is a one of a kind Design Original. The doll and quilt can be used as Decor for an impressionable design statement.
