Description

Polish your skin with this sugar scrub ~ and indulge your (and maybe someone else's after you're done) sense of smell and touch. This stuff leaves your skin SOFT and you'll smell nice too, subtly.

How is this possible? Hop into the shower and then scoop some of the scrub and massage your body. The vegan (crystallized, but otherwise unrefined & not white) sugar polishes (without the painful spa bill, which I know from personal experience - ouch) and my formulation of shea butter & oils which include grapeseed, macadamia nut (supposed to be the closest to your own oil), hemp seed (soothing) & wheat germ (vits A, E and other goodies) and emulsifying wax. Preserved with a paraben-free cocktail of potassium sorbate (a naturally occurring fatty acid with anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties originally identified in nature in mountain ash berries, now manufactured for purity among other things), caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol and/or polyaminopropyl biguanide (concentrations per supplier's recommendations). Preservative is absolutely necessary because this item will come in contact with water. PLEASE NOTE: non-vegan (white cane sugar) option available for a slightly less coarse texture. Beet white sugar currently unavailable until further notice.

► ► PLEASE note - I formulated this SPECIFICALLY to "look" dry and not be SLOSHY OIL like some others you may be used to seeing. The good stuff is mixed to literally scoop out with the sugar so no stirring is required - I don't use coloring so this may not be evident. BUT USE the scrub and I guarantee you'll know the GOOD STUFF IS THERE. Kind of like the invisible fairy god mother =) I have people who come back for more of this regularly!

• Romp Through The Woods
Another one of my essential oil blends • very earthy • it reminds me of being in the woods after a rain scents of wood, a undefineable hint of flowers & freshness in the breeze. Unisex to masculine.

• Citrus Patchouli
I am not overly fond of straight patchouli but sweet orange and lemony notes tone it down and adds depth. Unisex.


• Luscious Lavender
I am not a big fan of straight lavender, but I've done a little mixing with some other essential oils and I love the resulting scent in this soap I've converted a number of "non•lavender" types with this scent. A blend of essential oils, yielding lavender with a hint of sweet woodsiness & a breath of citrus. Not your ordinary lavender. Unisex.


• Mint-E (may be irritating to some people's under arms)
A very refreshing perky blend. Eucalyptus essential oil rounds the sharpness of the peppermint notes. I am not fond of either scent alone but love this combo.

• Rustic Vanilla
A classic sophisticated vanilla with a round, creamy scent. No cloying sweetness here - just an adult vanilla.

• Grassy Knoll
Scented of freshly cut grass which is sure to bring back memories of frolicking in the sun or just laying on the grass, watching the clouds go by. Unisex.

• Lilac
One of my mother's favorite scents and original made especially for her. Really does smell like lilacs, perfect for the flower-lover or gardener.

• Ginger Souffle
Loosely based on Origins' scent of the same name. A blend of fresh citrus and cool mint top notes with a spicy warm heart of clove, cardamom, ginger and cinnamon leaf with rich vanilla base notes supporting the blend. Slight sweetness toned down with lime essential oil -“ kind of foody to my nose. This scent is popular with both sexes • a lot of guys love it which initially surprised me.

• Bay Rum
A sexy masculine scent. No need to be more articulate than that. The men who use it love it, others love the scent on their men. I don't know if this is pheromone in a soap but it sure smells like it. Masculine but not an overly strong scent.

• Oatmeal Milk & Honey
One of my most popular scents. Very comforting foody scent.


• Vetiver
A strong, complex fragrance, earthy and clean. Another great sexy scent for men, but not too masculine for some women. So, I'd say unisex to masculine.


• Breeze
Well, it reminds me of what a good day smells like, with a fresh breeze. This is a very subtle scent so I wouldn't recommend it if you want a strong scent.

• Rose
Seriously, it is the closest thing to the real thing. I likely will not carry this scent on a regular basis after this batch is gone. I make it mostly for my Mom who is big into floral scents.

• Yuzu
A fresh Japanese citrus. More green notes than straight grapefruit.

• Exotic Spicy Fig No. 2
A little fig, a little cinnamon, clove and other spice and some exotic woods . . . Soft and alluring, unisex (seriously, universally-loved).


• Get Lucky
A blend of essential oils and fragrances • earthy, woods (including sandalwood), fresh herbal with a hint of citrus. Masculine.

• Pumpkin Pie
Yummy. Like Pumpkin pie, without the calories. Darn near edible.


• White Tea & Ginger
Light, crisp and fresh. Enough said.

• CocoLime

• White Tea & Yuzu
A great combo of light, crisp and fresh White Tea complements the green citrus Yuzu (Japanese citrus) notes.


• Chant
An earthy exotic scent with fleeting top citrus notes; lavender, spicy and pine middle notes and anchored with an earthy, woodsy base. On the heavy, earthy side, unisex.

• Blackberry Sage
Darn near edible, but please don't even THINK about licking it because I guarantee, it will taste nasty - for external use only. Hm, my olfactory senses detect predominant notes of juicy blackberry (yeah, the ones with thorns, but like an idiot, you are tempted to walk into the bush because the fruit is so tasty) and only minor sage/herbal notes.


• Midnight In Utopia
A complex blend of citrus top notes flowing into notes of cinnamon, cloves, myrrh, gingered fig and jasmine overlaying a thin base of exotic woods, a breath of powder and vanilla.

• Buckland
Sexy. Masculine. Green. Romp through the English countryside with its moss and brooks fresh green top notes of wood, ambergris, leaves and verbena overlay a base of oakmoss and the fresh scent shortly after it rains. Masculine.

• Touch of Velvet
A strong, masculine scent with top notes of citrus, followed by cedar, sandalwood, vetiver; warmed by notes of musk and a breath of amber. Masculine yet warm.

• Mango Dreams
Smooth scent of the same fruits. NOT cloying - just well, nice.

• Exotic Tea
tea with a little smokiness - smells like Lapsan Souchong to me.

• Sandalwood (unisex, sensuous)

• Gianduia (choc & hazelnut!)

• Lavender (eo) & Pineapple
The sweetness of the pineapple is tempered by the herbaceous lavender.

• Lavender & Vanilla

Soft, smooth with a touch of sweetness. Just enough of each to blend into a subtle scent.

• Pink Sugar
Notes of cotton candy, vanilla, and caramel predominating, supported by notes of musk and topped with a HINT of fruit (you'd probably not realize except I just stated it).

• Sweet Tea LTD (will be phased out)
Fruit and sweetened tea scent.

• Surfer Dude
The fresh, cool scent of the Pacific ocean breeze on the cool (cold) Northern California beach. Unisex.


• Pink Bubble Gum LTD
I tested this on a whim and expected to hate it as I haven't been in my Bubble Gum years for a while. But this scent has really grown on me - yep, smells just like pink bubblegum, the stuff which makes your jaws hurt after 5 minutes of chewing.

• Dragon's Blood
Rustic, dark & sensual aroma of incense, amber and patchouli, with a hint of vanilla. Unisex to masculine.

• Fresh Laundry
I blended a bunch of scents until I came up with this - reminded me of fresh laundry so I stopped. It's a positive association =) In lotions, it takes on a light floral leaning.

• Vernal Breeze
This is a clean, crisp, fresh scent, not overpowering and not too light but on the lighter side. The scent reminds me of walking through a garden on a spring day with a gentle breeze carrying a waft of fresh air, citrus, herbs, lavender and plain ol' sunshine (bet you didn't realize sunshine was scented). I find the blend very relaxing, very spa-like.

Loosely based on Philosophy's Amazing Grace (no affiliation). Blend of rose, lemon, cinnamon and musk - more laid back version of Grace (below) with less of the spicy cinnamon notes. Fem, very soft.


• Blue
I gladly would roll around in this all day long. It's a wonderful unisex blend of green citrus, ginger, licorice, patchouli, lavender, coriander, cedar, tonka bean with a whiff of caramel and vanilla. Muted midnight blue swirl imparted by a mix of coconut charcoal and mineral pigment. I am so obsessed with this scent - which happens to me rarely - I took the last bar for sale and it's in my shower. Everyone will have to wait for the curing batch. mmmmmm, serious olfactory orgasm here. Unisex to masculine.

• Black LTD
Citrus notes sit atop herbaceous notes on a base of woods, cedar, and breath of amber. Sexy, elegant, "green". Masculine.

• West Side LTD
Blended notes of bergamot, juniper, jasmine and patchouli. A cool scent. Unisex to masculine.
