Shino Teapot with Matching Teacups
Description
I threw this teapot and cups with a white stoneware clay, then sliced off 8 strips of clay from the sides to create the octagonal shape. They were all glazed with shino glazes and fired to a temperature in excess of 2300 degrees F.The teapot holds 18 ounces and the matching cups hold 4 ounces each.
This set would make a great gift item.
