japanese etch pendant on green silk

Description

This sterling silver pendant has a beautiful Japanese leaf design etched into the surface and then blackened. The exposed silver has a quite soft, slightly brushed finish.

You will find that this pendant has a really lovely light weight to it - I have one of these pendants of my own and always enjoy wearing it (and get so many comments about it!).

The pendant is suspended on a soft green piece of natural silk thread which is finished with a handmade silver clasp and other findings. The thread is designed for use with jewellery making and can be washed - and even ironed if required. I can change the colour of the silk thread if you'd like - send me a conversation to let me know what you'd like and I can tell you what I have available.

The length of the neckpiece is approximately 43cm (17") - let me know if you would like this changed. The sterling silver pendant is approximately 5.5cm (2") long and 1.3cm wide (0.5").

Note that I individually handmake all of my jewellery. The item you purchase may differ slightly from that photographed. This is part of the beauty of handmade work - no two pieces are ever identical.
