SIZE 10, 5.5ct STAR SAPPHIRE RING IN CAST STERLING SILVER SETTING

Description

The stone in this ring is a synthetic star sapphire, but it is better(in my opinion) than the Linde stars of old because it is translucent. It still presents the bright star of the Linde stones. It weighs five and a half carats and measures 12x10mm. It is set in the relatively heavy cast sterling silver setting which I have oxidized to show the detail. The pictures tell the rest of the story. All of which were taken out side in sunlight except the last one which was taken indoors with a flashlight shining on the stone. The stone even looks nice when there is not light shining on it as in the 3rd picture. It will be shipped in the crystal ring box shown in the pictures.
