In my family, when we leave one another the last words that we say to each other are, "I love you." and "Be Safe".

In the Catholic Religion, St. Christopher is the Patron Saint of Travelers. Whatever your beliefs, and given the craziness of our lifestyles today, isn't it nice to think that someone's watching over us as we go on our way.

My jewelry is created from solid copper, brass, sterling silver, cultured pearls, Swarovski Crystals, vintage treasures and other odds and ends; and the sentiments and sayings are all hand-stamped. (Please refer to the photos for the specifics of this piece.)

Where some see trash, I see possibilities and history. I love to repurpose things, and this gives my jewelry a whimsical and sentimental feeling. I also love imperfections; in my jewelry and in my life. They keep things interesting.

The industrial nature of my work was most influenced by my Father and Grandfather. My Dad was a steelworker, and he raised me with an appreication for metals of all kinds. My granfather was an avid collector of the discarded, and he passed along the thrill of the hunt to me.
